How to Reconstitute Peptides

Most Venus Protocol compounds ship as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder that needs to be mixed with bacteriostatic water before research use. Here's the complete process.

What You Need

• Lyophilized peptide vial
• Bacteriostatic water (BAC water, 0.9% benzyl alcohol)
• Insulin syringes (1ml / 100 unit)
• Alcohol swabs

Steps

1. Clean vial tops with alcohol swabs. Let dry 10 seconds.
2. Draw BAC water into syringe (common: 1ml, 2ml, or 3ml).
3. Inject slowly down the glass wall — never directly on the powder.
4. Swirl gently. Never shake. Roll between palms.
5. Wait until clear. Most dissolve in 1–3 minutes.
6. Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 2–4 weeks.
